refactor: evaluate generalizing (background-)color transition property

    I'm wondering whether we should probably include the transition property (`color`) in here as well (and/or in DB Base code already). Currently the transition property is not included in this declaration and that might mean that all CSS properties would get animated (which is not what the variable name implies).
