Ability to do a "dry-run" (sync against the production instance, but don't make changes)

Especially while upgrading the used capella-polarion version, it would be extremely helpful to have a "dry-run" option. This would allow us to see what _would_ change without actually committing any changes. This way, we can make more informed decisions on whether it's more effort to upgrade or to stay and try to work around the old version's shortcomings.
