Lengthy model runs can be unsettling when they take longer than a few seconds. Can we get updates on progress of the model fitting? (e.g., comment box says: "fitting model 4 of 68")

this is definitely a v 2.0.0 issue.

the model functions would need to be able to return this to the command line before that could be presented in the gui.
