Weird I tried on 2 devices, via a direct hard boot, and then via the hard boot using 4 + "vol down" operation Each time I have the USB stick with the led showing activity during boot time, but port 22 remains closed The USB stick is the same used successfully for a ST20, formatted in fat32 with an empty |

It appears that the ST10 has several different hardware generations, which also exhibit different behaviour in startup. Question: The ST20 has an USB A-type connector, while the ST10 has a Micro USB connector. I assume that your USB stick is Type A. How do you connect this to the Micro USB port? If this is done with a simple "adapter cable" it might not work. Necessary is a so called OTG adapter, which basically has an internal connection of the 5th pin of Micro USB to ground. Regards |

Somewhere I read about a bootable flag - not sure what that could be. Maybe the partition scheme needs to be MBR? |

Hello did someone have a process to gain root access to ST10 ?
Via ST20 it was pretty easy using the usb stick and the
remote_servicesBut with a ST10 it seems to be more complicated
I also have a Jack cable to USB but not the 5 rings Bose ETAP
Many thanks
