📔 Issue Description:

If I focus on the chat input and don’t write anything for a while, the profile pictures of the messages start to fade out. This shouldn’t happen since the chat input is still focused, and the user is actively engaging with the UI.

STR:

1. Open Nearby chat and click on the input box.
2. Do not type anything, just leave the input focused.
3. Wait a few seconds.
4. Observe how the profile pictures of messages start to fade.
5. Repeat 1-4 with DMs

✔️ Expected Result:

Profile pictures should remain fully visible as long as the chat input is focused, indicating user activity.

❌ Actual Result with evidence:

Profile pictures fade out even though the input is focused and the user is active.
