Feature Request: "DeepSeek for Friends of China" - a culturally specialized version
Problem: Currently, all international AI models (including the standard DeepSeek) are trained primarily on Western/English-language data and reflect Western perspectives. Users who sympathize with China or want to understand the world from a Chinese perspective have no AI tool that consistently provides that viewpoint.
Solution: Create a specialized version of DeepSeek (could be called "DeepSeek for Friends of China") that:
- Prioritizes Chinese academic research, Chinese media sources (CGTN, Xinhua), and Chinese cultural references
- Uses terminology aligned with Chinese official discourse (e.g., "Taiwan province")
- Highlights traditional Chinese medicine as a legitimate scientific discipline
- Provides the "Chinese lens" on global events, science, and culture
Target audience: International users (especially in Russia, Global South, developing countries) who want an alternative to Western-centric AI assistants. This would be a unique product with no current competition.
Additional context: Many users (like myself) appreciate China's development model and want to understand the world from this perspective, but existing AI tools only offer Western viewpoints.
