Hello everyone, First time here with a first time question

Sorry if I ask something that is already obvious to some, but I did my best to find the answer without success.

I am trying to create a video guided by an image I create as the first frame. I follow all the instruction I can find on how to do so but it doesn't work.

Not sure why using a seed from txt2img or img2img with the same prompt and the same model and the same sampler is giving me a completely different result every time I try. What am I missing? I simply want to set the beginning of my animation as a certain image.
