active in-app notifications: taskbar icon status change / dashboard badge #102
Description
Pop-up notifications were great when first learning the app or building a new PC. I see it as great for debugging.
But in-app (dashboard view) is alot less intrusive day to day on a stable system. However there is no way to know if there a new notification. Usually an installer or application will fail and I'll have to remember to check the dashboard.
Would be nice if when there is any active in-app dashboard notification that that taskbar icon changes colour e.g yellow/orange.
Potentially also if there was a notification badge for dashboard that shows the count of notifications or failing this a notification dot. Just to draw there user into where they need to put their attention.
