Does this software prevent other software from creating/editing rules

README.md says:
No Service Required: Creates persistent Windows Firewall rules, eliminating the need for its own background service.

So that means minimalFW does not prevent other software from modifying WF rules??

Windows Firewall Control - https://www.binisoft.org/wfc.php - have an option to auto-delete or auto-disable rules which does not created from WFC UI.

There is a beta function you can test in the audit tab at the top, to automatically do this. Otherwise, no it does not prevent other software that you give administrator rights to from creating rules.

Please open a discussion if you want, to see if other people have good ideas on how to implement/refine what you want. I specifically designed this app to be as secure as possible, working with Windows Firewall and not beneath it, which likely provides some limitations.
