Description
The basic structure of person-publication-declaration-quotation[-claim] entities is generic. This issue proposes the introduction of a new field, 'topic', that can be used to filter results by topic. Potential topics for which a sound scientific evidential base could be curated include COVID, vaccine, fluoride, 5G/RFR, alternative monetary systems, CBDCs. It might also be feasible to introduce a multi-level scheme of topic-subtopic-subsubtopic to allow for fine-grained categorisation and research. One design consideration would be whether to support a fixed or an arbitrary number of levels. For ultimate flexibility, arbitrary levels would be better, but the resulting schema and database queries would be more complex and less performant. Also, how/where would the filter be applied? To each entity individually or just, for example, to person, publication, claim, etc.? Or different levels of selectivity for each entity: for example, 'person' might need only a 'topic' field, whereas 'publication', 'declaration' or 'claim' might benefit from the greater selectivity of 'topic'-'subtopic'-'subsubtopic'.
