Home page enhancements

The home page is just a placeholder. We need some decent screen-shots for the hero image. The 'The Challenge', 'Mission Statement' and 'Description' cards would perhaps look better displayed in a rotating carousel, as their content is too large and needs scrolling on smaller form factors - using nearer to full-screen width would alleviate this tendency.
