help with gopls and git-bash (or cygwin)

Anyone here managed to get gopls working with git-bash ? or cygwin?

I can't get them to work together under ale

actually just found out that if I launch vim under cmd.exe everything works correctly

this is going to require a bit of an adjustment from me, but happy for now
