Does Mangohud work with Legendary?

I have been trying to make Mangohud work with Legendary and I don't know why it isn't working. The game runs but the Mangohud doesn't display. (Mangohud does work for my steam games and glxgears test)

(OS: NixOS)

Ran the command but it is not working:

$ mangohud legendary launch fowl

Tried running other commands too but they didn't work either:

$ mangohud legendary launch fowl
$ MANGOHUD=1 legendary launch fowl
$ MANGOHUD_DLSYM=1 MANGOHUD=1 legendary launch fowl
$ MANGOHUD_DLSYM=1 mangohud legendary launch fowl

Any help or can someone point me to the right direction? will be of great help~ Thank you~

I switched to Heroic which uses Legendary in the back. MangoHud works with a simple checkbox and doesn't seem to require any additional steps. So I switched there
