Hello! My name is Jen (Jae) Salavarrieta. I have been working as a UI/UX spatial designer within the field of ar/vr/mr (xr) for the past 4 years now. To be honest, I wasn't even sure a topic coming from a designer's perspective in this space would have held interest until a few weeks ago when a friend of mine convinced me to do a small talk for them at studio Rodrigo.
My audience was mainly 2d/mobile designers with no experience in XR, so I conducted a "Brief introduction in AR/VR. Going through workflows, team dynamics, a walkthrough of the design process, what things to think about before approaching a client, and extra resources.
