Is there any way to use hls video

I was able to add hls video, for that i created a new event and updated the player in order to show the content, but it's not showed in timeline, if i use the ADD_VIDEO event, i'm getting this error "@designcombo_state.js?v=71bc009b:2527 Uncaught (in promise)
Event {isTrusted: true, type: 'error', target: null, currentTarget: null, eventPhase: 0, …}", and video is not able to play, is there any way to tell the event dispatcher don't evaluate the url?
