Custom clips are bugged; no longer play or subtitles missing

Prerequisites

• Using npm
• Using an up-to-date main branch
• Using latest version of devtools. Check the docs for how to update
• Tried solutions mentioned in #400
• For issue in production release, add devtools output of DEBUG_PROD=true npm run build && npm start

Using Latest Release
I do not understand what the checkboxes mean. I am not a dev, why do I need devtools? I am new to GitHub.

Expected Behavior

Current Behavior

The subtitles and riffs get added. Some clips work as intended, some don't.
