Having the same problem. It happens when creating a dialog to remove the video. As soon as the focus goes to dialog, the OnWindowFocusChangeListener gets called multiple times in class VideoControllerView. And that's when the videoView triggers null at the last try, then the app crashes. Thank you

I tried to reproduce the mentioned issue, but with no success. I can't see a crash. I tried showing an AlertDialog.

Please share more details, so I can successfully reproduce the issue and fix it.
