Postgres Serverless Support

Hello,

Is there any current or planned support for using a serverless Postgres-compatible Aurora instance on RDS? I saw a previous post mentioning that serverless does not allow the use of pg_temp but it appears that may have been solved with ServerlessV2.

Hi @dkintgen - I am not well-versed on the history of pgstac and Aurora but I am interested to hear that there have been changes in Aurora that might improve compatibility. @bitner have you heard of anyone trying pgstac on Aurora recently?

@dkintgen Basically, Aurora is not actually Postgres, it is highly modified and is considered "Postgres Compatible". We do not directly test on or support anything other than stock Postgres, but things that are "Postgres Compatible" should theoretically work.

Where there are incompatibilities, I am very happy to take any PRs to help make any platforms other than stock Postgres (regular RDS Postgres is "real" Postgres) work better, but unless we really have support ($$$ or PRs) from someone to support other platforms, we will not likely actively try to fix any issues with those platforms.
