Request - Support XDG Base Directory specifications on Linux and *nix

Would it be possible to tweak the code so that the ~/.bsnes directory is instead placed in $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/bsnes, or ~/.config/bsnes if $XDG_CONFIG_HOME is not set?
