Hello,
I am a WAHA Plus user and have a technical question about the expected behavior of the software when the paid subscription expires.
Currently, when my subscription ends, my WAHA instance is no longer accessible through the Dashboard, displaying the error: Server connection failed. WAHA (...) is not connected. Please make sure it's online and set the correct API key in the configuration.
I understand, based on your instructions, that the Plus version should continue to work for the core API even without an active subscription, only losing access to future updates. My goal is to ensure the API remains operational for my seamless integration with n8n.
My configuration:
Environment: EasyPanel on my own server.
Docker image: devlikeapro/waha-plus:noweb-2025.9.7
Connection: The Dashboard is configured to connect to the WAHA server using the service URL and the corresponding API key.
My question is:
Is this connection error in the Dashboard the expected behavior when the license expires? Or, are there any specific configuration steps I need to perform after the license expires to maintain functionality?
For example, should I delete the API Key from the server settings in the Dashboard once the license has expired so the connection can be reestablished?
