Hi! I believe we also remove messages from the store when receiving "delete" event.
So you need to save all messages by listenting message.any or connect to ChatWoot - it shows that the message was deleted but keep the original message

I have a way to detect a deleted message before it was deleted ..
Actually add to Db a new construction when delete and add some column
deleted as boolean field and Deleted At timestamp

And no record has been deleted .. also i wrote an application as WhatsApp UI to manage the employee who has a whatsapp account linked with me ..

And manage all accounts as archives of messages, monitoring and rating the best one of this ..
