Doch im Schatten entwickeln sich diverse Projekte, die das Web dezentral, local-first und mit weniger Hürden umbauen wollen.</p> <p>Eines davon ist Dat <a href="https://dat.foundation" class="linkified">https://dat.foundation</a>, ein Peer-to-Peer-Protokoll und eine Open-Source-Community. Mit Dat können versionierte Ordner ohne Server ausgetauscht werden - und zugleich lassen sich auch auf Grundlage von Dat Anwendungen entwickeln, die anders als “Software as a Service” keine Macht über gesammelte Daten ausüben können. Dat hat manches gemein mit den viel diskutierten Blockchains und unterscheidet sich dennoch in grundlegenden Punkten.</p> <p>Franz Heinzmann und Sid Moreira werden eine kleine Einführung geben und dann je nach Interesse und Wissensständen auf einzelne Aspekte mehr eingehen. Alle sind Willkommen! Vorkenntnisse sind nicht notwendig.
