How can I export all the data, especially the tags attached to the various links?

Hello, since the application is unmaintained and Chrome is terminating support for Chrome apps, I'm looking for a way to export the data, ideally in a machine-readable format (e.g. JSON).

What would be the best way to do this, potentially without having to create a new version of the extension?
