Hey! yeah that's sort of correct, that's one area that we want to improve on very soon so if it has the text one thing you can do tho, is select the option "Only trigger when new lines appear" this way it will scan all history and only alert when something new appears hope this helps! |

Thanks! I think I tried that but since it’s a forum it still snags all the
individual forum thread view and reply number changes along with new
unrelated to your search forum threads.
The “black list” ignore method with the full name of the thread seems to
work great though. Would really be cool if there was ab option to ignore
search results after the first reported notification though!
Thanks again!!!

If I want to monitor a classic video game sale forum for a specific item like lets say a PS2, what's the best way to do it?
Currently for that example I have a listing made that has "PS2" in the Trigger/wait for text. (I also have the 'Only trigger when new lines appear" checked but I'm unsure if that helps in this case)
This seems to work but as soon as it sees "PS2" on the page, it will always alert me every time the interval comes up, since there is always changing timestamps/thread view counts/new sale threads triggering the difference check. So even if that listing is old/sold it will always cause the notifications to go out as long as it's on the first page.
I've been copying the full listing thread title for those and putting them in the "ignore text" field so they won't be used to trigger new notifications.
Is this the best way to go about this? Can it be configured to only alert you to a text match the first time, then have that specific found match be added to the old content when searching for differences until a new entry comes up?
Thanks!
