How to get a push notification on Android phone?

Hello, I was finally able to setup Playwright and Discord notifications. Unfortunately Discord is always opened on my computer so when I'm not in front the notification never gets through my phone. I validated that it's not possible to send Discord notifications both on the computer AND an Android phone. The notification will only reach the Android phone if Discord is not opened on my computer.

I don't understand how to send a notification to my Android phone, I looked at the documentation but I'm not sure I understand what I must do. On a side note, might not be of any worth in this situation, I'm able to send push notifications to my Android phone from Home Assistant.

I too would like to understand this better. I see there are a ton of app options for notifications to be sent through, but I am not sure which one(s) are the easiest to setup just for straight-forward notifications.

Telegram is very easy to setup. But at the end of the day I recommend using whatever app you use most :)

Check out ntfy app. Very easy to set up.
