Should be good to have a fully portable version that simple you can download and works everywhere without need to install anything or configure anything, just with mupen64plus included inside. So, fully functional.
Seen that the portable version of mupen64plus just not work on Debian, so is not so easy create a portable version of mupen64plus-qt that also works on Debian then. Maybe this also is happening in other distros to.
