[Solution] How to Debug Python With Breakpoints

It took me a bit to piece together how to debug with breakpoints so I figured I'd share the steps. This method is for PyCharm, but I'm certain a similar setup could be used to debug in VSCode.

1. PyCharm → Run/Debug Configurations → New Python Debug Server
2. Copy from pip line from part 1) in the dialog and install. Reopen the Run/Debug Configuration window.
3. Copy the code from 2) in the dialog.
4. Paste this code in node_modules/serverless-offline/dist/lambda/handler-runner/python-runner/invoke.py at the top (line 13).
5. Add a breakpoint somewhere.
6. Run the SLS Local debug configuration.
7. Run sls offline start.
8. Debugging should now work!
