HEIC & MOV Preview Support please

Could the file thumb/preview support include .mov and .heic ?

Zipline worked great for collaborative photo share, but with a lot of iPhone users, i ended up with a lot of heic and mov files, which were impossible to distinguish before taking them out of zipline. I understand that I could have used another app more focused to images for this, but I use zipline as a standard "Goods in / out" channel rather than opening up the public face to other applications in the stack, such as nextcloud / immich / etc.

yes, supporting more file types for thumbnails is on the back burner but its on the roadmap and will be implemented eventually. on the other hand what do you mean by "they are impossible to distinguish before taking them out of zipline?

Impossible to distinguish meaning you can’t preview the image/movie while in zipline. Once uploaded (in this case from a bunch of mates at a weekend function), they end up in an album in my photos app. Up until they’re moved you can only see what they are by extension.

Sorry if my original explanation was confusing. Hope that e planned the use case a little better.
