Cannot enable eCAP antivirus module on Web Safety 9.5

After enabling eCAP antivirus module on latest 9.5 Web Safety the Squid proxy server service cannot start with error:

Restart FAILED
Exit code - 3

restarting Squid proxy...
cannot restart squid, error 1, stderr Job for squid.service failed because the control process exited with error code.

The Admin UI / Squid / Logs / Cache Log shows the following error:

The reason is eCAP module was compiled at the time when virtual appliance was generated with link to libclamav.so.9 but ubuntu system is now including libclamav.so.12 as explained in the issue #2323.

Workaround 1 - do NOT use eCAP antivirus
Workaround 2 - manually recompile the eCAP antivirus as explained in the issue and reboot the appliance.

I solved in this way:

ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libclamav.so.12 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libclamav.so.9
ldconfig
/opt/websafety/bin/restart.sh
