Overlapping popups

Basically I have both an ArcLayer and a ScatterplotLayer, both with popups. The arcs go from one scatterplot "circle" to another, so they overlap the circles partly.

In some instances, I haven't figured out exactly which, both popups show up at the same time when hovering a place that has both an arc and a circle. I am not sure what I want to happen, but as long as I know that no two popups can appear at the same time, if that means the circles' popups get prioritized over the arcs' or the other way around, I am happy.

I did see the openIfTopMost option, but it seems like, while it is true by default, it doesn't handle my case.

This might be a problem specific to deck.gl layers, since the methods used to find the "top-most" layer don't work there. It's not supported yet but the new deck.gl version used in the 1.0-next version supports multiple layers in a single deck.gl overlay, so I wonder if that might work better.

You could potentially try it by copying the DeckGlLayer.svelte and changing it to just instantiate the two layers you need at

svelte-maplibre/src/lib/DeckGlLayer.svelte

Failing that, I think some kind of option on the map for all the Popups to coordinate even more, and enforce that only one popup ever shows up at a time, would be possible. I don't have much time to work on this project at the moment but could probably get this in some time next month.

Manually instantiating the three (two visible) layers seems to do the trick!

Great! My plan is to eventually release another DeckGlLayer component that natively supports multiple layers in a single deck.gl overlay. See #241
