Discord Bot Token

Iadded my bot token to the field in example.env file but i run it it tells me pls add the discord token into the env file could u please help me with this error???
this is the error it shows:
Please set your bot's "DISCORD_TOKEN" in "./.env"

judging by what you said, you set the token in example.env, not .env.

you need to do everything in .env

replit has removed the .env files. from now on u have to use the replit secrets option btw: i used replit for the coding of this bot.

replit doesnt work due to this, it's a known issue but there's no good workaround. they also have lots of limits, are generally more expensive and have poor performance and also don't properly support mysql to my knowledge. don't bother trying.

most of them don't work, it's best to just write your code, commit it to GitHub and then set up a bot plan at some host that pulls from GitHub. you can also go the VPS or bare metal route but that's more expensive and harder to setup and maintain
