String types that are optional don't get automatically selected if it's the next thing to fill in

Steps to Reproduce

1. Have a command:

Expected Behavior

It gets sent to you as /search terms: whatever

Current Behavior
It gets sent as /search and the whatever gets dropped

This behavior is working as intended, and similar to #2585 it may be something we improve UX around.
