About me in user

So far in the api i've found no way to access the about me text of the user, if i make a request i get a simple object, something like this

but no about me item, is there any way that this could be added? or if there already is a a method of getting this property, I would love to know, thanks

Bots will not get access to user bios, for privacy: #3095 (comment)

The question does not ask for bot access specifically and an oauth scope is still up for discussion, afaik.
