Increase in maximum useable bots per server

Hi!

For those who are not aware, discords slash commands limit only the newest 50 bots to work in the server. For any of them after, slash commands will not show up / cannot be configured through the integrations page.

I feel like discord has forgotten to account for a lot of large servers where 50 bots is a common occurrence. While I understand this change helps in combatting servers filled with thousands of useless bots, I don't see a reason why this cannot be reasonably raised to at least a 100.

• Large servers have multiple bots of the same type to suit the requirements. For example, a large server might have 10 music bots so everyone can listen to their preferred music, this only leaves space for 40 bots, which would include moderation, game, server management bots etc.

• There are multiple servers which offer communities for users to come together and play various bots together especially ones which require interaction between users eg bots which require trading.

Our requirement is to be able to actively use multiple bots so that everyone in the server can have the best experience possible.

As a suggestion, could discord increase this limit based on the non-bot member count or even lock it behind boost levels?

I feel like this is an essential feature that is very much needed to support the seamless implementation of slash commands
Slash commands are still not used in majority of the servers and I am pretty sure this would be a huge issue for most large community servers.

I really hope discord considers this and implements it as soon as possible.

Alternative: Reject authorising the bot joins to a guild when there are already 50 bots authorised in the guild.

Personally, this shouldn't be an alternative but both should be there, to prevent weird behavior where only some bots work.

We currently have no plans to raise this limit.

Something we have considered, regarding your point on music bots taking up slots, is allowing apps to connect to multiple voice channels in the same server, but no guarantees or timeline on that though.

Also if this is something discord is not going to change, it should be documented and clearly communicated to users because if you go into a few support servers, you can still see multiple people asking why the bot doesnt show up in integrations and developers just say "Try kicking and reinviting the bot"

I would still like to reiterate that increasing this by a little should be something that should be considered

Also I just noticed, each webhook created takes up a space for a bot.. This is getting even more difficult to manage 😕

The situation in your screenshot is because the application was authorized with the webhook.incoming scope; standard webhooks do not show in the applications list.

This was forced onto servers whitout considering gamer servers' needs and it still not going to be fixed? This causing serious damage to servers and bots by making them unusable. People will skip using bots and leave servers after seeing this isn't fixed at all.

Similar yes, you wanted to be able to choose with 50 bots are usable, while I want more than 50 bots usable

Can servers at least get an alert when they invite the 51th or so on bot, saying something like "you reached the bot amount limit, that implies you will not be able to use this integration / bot".

Many users have no idea that this is the issue and it's making them think that bots don't work or that Discord is broken.
