Dead commands & bots showing up in the slash command popup list

Every members need

a personal opt-out toggle button that can hide ALL commands from the slash command list they don't have permission to carry out (for example, mod commands for regular users) by previous bot settings.

Because the whole slash command thing was forced on the users by discord so we can expect a smooth, user friendly feature and experience - at least as much as it was with regular commands.

On a server where there are multiple bots (like a gamer server with above 20 bots) the dead commands and servers shoving upin the window is really bothersome; it gives an unnecessarily crowded view that makes smooth gaming experience way slower and much more annoying for members who want to carry out and find commands as fast and as easy as possible in order for good gaming performance.

It's unfanthomable that discord pushed out of such an update without caring at all for big/gamers servers, making gamers' discord experience much worse by cluttering up the command list and server list both in the popup window. (Not even mentioning slash dommands doesen't even show up if the server has more than 50 bots, cos that's the limit they set per server.)

The screenshot is from a regular user. Even if the bot gives back an error message about missing permission, the commands are still showing up all, making it unnecessarily cluttered.

Half of these bots doesnt have any slash commands in the integration, they are not not blocked commands, there are just no any command for them in the integration list

Just a few things that i think you might have missed or misunderstood from the conversation in ddevs

Frequently used commands are already automatically displayed at the top of the picker, under the tab with a clock icon. However, it's per-user so you might not see it if you don't use slash commands yourself

Individual commands you have no permission to use (based on integration settings or the default_member_permisions field) are already hidden and have been for a little while now

As was mentioned earlier, this is not an issue with Discord but rather with the bot developer not setting default permissions via the API. As far as Discord is concerned, neither the developer nor the server admins have configured permissions to restrict the commands from being used by users, so they will be shown to the user.
The solution to that would be to configure default permissions (if you're the dev) or set permission overrides under Server Settings → Integrations (if you have enough permissions)

Overall I think your main point is the picker UI being cluttered when missing permissions to use any of the app's commands, which I think you could make more obvious in this discussion

I have been doing / commands all day and no field for me. But before I wrote the post I made a test just to be sure because nothing shown up for me so I carried out the same / for 35 times and still no frequently field, but you can point out on my screenshot where I missed it.

I literally posted screenshots that was made right before I contacted the devs, which means a bit more than 12 hours, sent to me by a member. Are you calling the screenshot fake or did an update happened while I was showering just now? I clearly stated both on the server and in my post that the original permissions were set to the bot when we first invited it. Members never had perms to mod commands but they still shown automatically in the / command list when the bot devs (like Carl and Yag) doesn't understand how their bots connect to discord anymore after the slash command change and so didn't update the bot to be fit to the changes. It affects members negatively. If the basic premissions were set already, which were, and the bot starts to work out of that by discord, then discord should do something about it cos it wasn't anybody else who changed anything. I refuse to believe nothing can be done except torture server mods to manually set hundreds and hundreds integration changes each by each when a bot team refusing to cooperate with discord changes and update to provide safe experience

I just asked for more for you then. A channel where ONLY two bot enabled and all other bots all integration was blocked regarding to that channel

..yes, these bots support slash commands, the members just can't use any of them. And again, carlbot hasnt set default permissions
