Allow applications to upload custom permission objects for use in roles

Ex: A music bot registering a "DJ" permission that can be added to a role the same way you'd add something like "use external emojis" to a roles perm set.

It'd be useful for fine tuning bot permissions without having to delve into a maze of menus.

"It depends" just doesn't really give me an idea at all. Can you give me a concrete example of something someone with only that bot permission turned on could do that someone without wouldn't be able to?

From what i understand their suggestion is to allow bots to upload custom permissions in the UI, so you can tie certain access to users with that permission. It looks similar to what music bots do when asking for a DJ role (which for example can give you access to skipping queued songs) or bots which allow to customize their settings to people with some sort of manager role. But instead of asking admins to configure a role that will have access to the bot configuration/setup, then it's whoever has that permission
