"Network Error" when pairing official Hue Bridge with DiyHue #1091

Description

Whenever I try connecting pairing my DiyHue with original Hue Bridge Pro, I get a "Network Error".

Is this an issue related to Bridge Pro requiring HTTPS when standard Bridge does not? If so, is there any possible workaround for this?

Errors from Console:

Mixed Content: The page at 'https://192.168.0.184/#phillips' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure XMLHttpRequest endpoint 'http://192.168.0.183/api'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

Steps to reproduce

  • Go to WebUI>Addons>Phillips
  • Fill the IP of Hue Bridge Pro
  • Hit PAIR button
  • "Network Error" happens.
