SDK certified chip Matrice 4T

Hello,

I'm working with a Matrice 4T - e-port dev kit - stm32, is it necessary to have a SDK certified chip (why ?) ?

Also it's more of a hardware issue but the dip switches' plastic sliders on the dev kit are broken, any idea to bypass/fix ? (or just replacing the switch or kit)
