MQTT error: 'Error: Connection refused: Identifier rejected' Connected: false

Describe The Bug:
The plugin seem to work correctly and reports the correct temperature from my 2 sensors to the home app, but I receive the MQTT error in the log every 5 seconds

To Reproduce:
I checked the User Access ID and secret key are correct (they were). I also revoked those and created new ones, and then entered into the plugin config. Same MQTT error

Expected behavior:
Whilst not affecting functionality, is this expected behaviour?

This is not normal.

Can you try please with version 1.6.6. In Homebridge you will need to select the dot-dot-dot next to this plugin, then "Manage versions" then in the dropdown for "All versions" select v1.6.6 and click on the download button.

In v1.6.7 there was code added to support YoLink local hub. I first want to fine out if your problem was introduced by that... by having you try the plugin immediately before that code was added. If it is still a problem, then you might as well go back to version 1.6.8 and then we can start figuring out what is going on.

Also, I am not liking this log message...

And looking at your config JSON it does look wrong. This section is not right.

Immediately above the "config" there should be a "deviceId" string which is missing.

Now this may have nothing to do with the MQTT problem, but is worth checking.

I tried rolling back to v1.6.6 as you suggested, but the log shows the same behaviour - MQTT error repeating every 5 seconds.

I've gone back to v1.6.8, with everything functioning as expected in both the yolink app and apple home, just with the same error in the log
