Album art wiping on no playing

I have the 'empty file if no track playing' disabled however when the music is paused the track name and artist stay but the artwork is deleted. 

I use this for a now playing overlay for streamlabs and every time i re open streamlabs i have to redefine the location of the artwork file (i assume because its wiping on pause so streamlabs cant find the file and thinks its missing)
