Multiple instances on the same dashboard not working

When I have a single instance of the card on a dashboard, it works as expected:

hey @jbrownza , I wasn't able to replicate this issue on my end as I was able to have two instances of air visual card showing with different set of sensors. I don't really practice coding right now so I personally can't fix this issue, but I tried using Claude 4.5 via Perplexity AI to suggest a fix and it suggested that the root cause of the issue was:

Since the card already has Shadow DOM enabled (this.attachShadow({ mode: 'open' })), the issue was that the element queries weren't scoped to the shadow root. By changing all element queries to use this.shadowRoot.querySelector() instead of this.querySelector(), each card instance now only accesses elements within its own shadow DOM, preventing conflicts.

These changes ensure that all element queries are properly scoped to each card instance's shadow DOM, preventing ID conflicts when multiple cards are displayed on the same dashboard

I barely remember how to use Github so I accidentally modified the air-visual-card.js file instead of submitting a PR. Can you try using replacing your air-visual-card.js with the version below, then clear your browser cache and see if it works?

This just happened to me too. I woke up this morning with the 2 cards showing:

I recently updated to OS 2025.11.2 (maybe last night) but can't confirm it was the cause.
Using one card only makes the "issue" intermittent. Weird...
Anyways, I'll try your script and report

I have tried the update, but it has not resolved the issue. I suspect the suggested solution is touching on the right area though. When I get some time I'll take a look at the .js and see if I can get it sorted.

I can place 2 copies from the same sensors without issues but when I create 2 cards from 2 different sensors it causes the issue. Are you sure the 2 cards used 2 different set of sensors? Did you include different weather info as well?
