Pass arguments to debug

I want to debug a build that is usually run like so

docker buildx build --build-arg ARG1="Hi" -t build1 .

But the docker buildx debug command doesn't support --build-arg:

docker buildx debug --on=error --build-arg ARG1="Hi" -t build1 .

unknown flag: --build-arg
See 'docker buildx debug --help'.

Usage:  docker buildx debug [OPTIONS] COMMAND

What is the equivalent command in this case?
