LocalDB Needs Documentation / API Reference

I have been trying to play with LocalDB with virtually no success. The docs on this component consist of a paragraph detailing 'dbConfig' object and that's it.

How do I clear/destroy an existing instance?
Can I mixin 'Cache', or 'Trackable'?
Is 'Model' a required property?
Can I set a custom idProperty?

Here is the minimum config I've tested to initiate a LocalDB store:
