Currently, data is lost when the server is restarted.

It would be great if a feature enabling opt-in read/write access to Store data via SQLite or similar at a specified path could be enabled.

Yeah I think this could be a good idea! We could use a raw JSON file (maybe simpler and easier for people to inspect, especially given the expected scale), or something like https://nodejs.org/api/sqlite.html (if we expect people will be storing 1000+ emails).

We might also want to think about whether by default it should only be stored in memory, or actually write to some default file location. And/or what we want to suggest to people as a reasonable file location.

I often use in local development. So I haven't really been thinking about scalability that much.

I think in that case just a JSON file might be the right size? Unless you're sending thousands+ of messages?
