Yanking from vterm doesn't copy into system clipboard

Hello!

Copy and pasting seem to be fine for the most part. After upgrading my doom I've had problems copying from vterm into the system clipboard. I've gotten around this by pasting into the scratch buffer and then yanking that, but it's gotten a bit tiresome. Wondering if others have this problem.

Steps to reproduce

Open emacs
open terminal (spc o t)
yank from terminal (yy)
try to paste into separate program
