Hi there, thanks a lot for creating this keyboard! I've ordered parts for it, and I wanted to clarify some questions that I had:

1. Can I use Cherry low profile switches?
2. Could you upload another pic of the fully built keyboard, but one from the back? It would answer most questions that I have. I'm a bit confused about how to solder the MCU and diodes. If not a pic, then a line or two about orientation would help greatly.

Hey,

I'm a little bit ashamed that this got traction, as v0.1 is a little bit jank. In the future I'm planning on making a better version (better diode support, better ways to mount the controller).

1. As far as I know, Cherry MXLP has the same footprint as MX, so it should be fine.
2. Here I made a video for you about the controller, and the diodes go under the keys, where leds would go.

Thanks, that clarifies the questions I had about the MCU. When you say the diodes go under the keys, do you mean that both of them are soldered on the same side of the PCB?
