How do I create a .NET Core app w/ React on MacOS

Description

I am a MacOS user and Visual Studio for MacOS has been retired. There doesnt appear to be a .NET Core template for a React App available in VS Code and the dotnet CLI can no longer create a React app either. What is the recommended way to create a .NET Core app w/ a React frontend on MacOS?

@ydogandjiev, thanks for letting us know what you were looking for but didn't find.

The last version available for the REACT template you could download and use in the .NET CLI was this 8.0 preview here:
NuGet Gallery | Microsoft.DotNet.Web.Spa.ProjectTemplates.8.0 8.0.0-preview.6.23329.11

Here is information on the template support:
Remove the ASP.NET Core Angular & React templates from the .NET SDK for .NET 8 · Issue #49388 · dotnet/aspnetcore

If you chose to use the 8.0 Preview of that template package from the CLI this would be the command:

dotnet new install Microsoft.DotNet.Web.Spa.ProjectTemplates.8.0::8.0.0-preview.6.23329.11

Then you could create a new app using that template with this command:

dotnet new react -o my-new-app

Since a template for REACT is no longer being provided in the .NET SDK per the announcement on the issue cited above, a new tutorial featuring the template for use with the .NET CLI for macOS is not planned.
