@cmastr hey there, as you are listing the authentication and security pages, could someone check on this here also?

the asp net core docs are sort of covering authentication, but the RemoteAuthenticationHandler which is told to be usable for oAuth2, is not mentioned anywhere in those docs. after 3 Days I finally found these docs here:

but as you can see, that is reffering to asp net core 4.x => not current

As you hopefully will agree with me, this topic and also the CORS topic I found there better visualized, but also kind of that whole section this both is nested in "Authorization Authentication Security" would be absolutly awesome if we could get this enhanced, broken down, visualized, but also abstracted shown, in the CURRENT Asp Net core docs 🚀
the ones we have on the aspnet/core url are a lot guiding and redirecting to ms identity and azure, which might be a good way to go, but I as beginner would prefer to learn the fundamentals like there at first and then you can still tell and link us to that other product. but that would really help a lot to get a better entrance! ❤️

@DevTKSS, thanks, those are also great topics for us to update. If you create an issue for it right at the doc, it gets tracked with the context of the issue and issue history. If you would rather not create new issues on the topic itself that you suggested, I can do that for you. Great information and the feedback is very appreciated. Thanks!

This particular issue here is scoped to a small set of topics that were getting over 10K page views per month that we were trying to squeeze on top of a large workload already set for July (for which there are just a few days left). The topics you were pointing out are important, but out of scope for this issue (such as ~700 page views a month as opposed to 10,000). We will still address them, it is just that this is the wrong issue to track them.
