I think you mean to say "non-routable Razor components" instead of " don't apply to routable Razor components":

Hi @gregoryagu. Actually, the text is correct because non-routable Razor components can be placed into Razor Pages, and so the routing conventions here would work in that scenario.

A routable component is one with the @page directive on it. This is the only type of component that will respect "Authorize".

An "Authorization Convention" (ie, putting an "Authorize" attribute on the page) would then apply to routable components.

So it doesn't make sense to say that "Razor Pages authorization conventions don't apply to routable Razor components."

because you can only put an Authorization Convention (ie "Authorize") on a page, which is a routable component, correct? If you can't put it on a page, then you put it on a button?

The rest of the paragraph is correct, just not this one line. Am I misunderstanding something?
