Description

This issue focuses on developing a comprehensive documentation strategy to better integrate ASP.NET Core authentication content with Microsoft Entra ID and MFA documentation. The primary deliverable is a content plan created in collaboration with stakeholders that will:

• Eliminate content duplication between ASP.NET Core and Entra ID documentation
• Create clear entry points in ASP.NET Core docs that guide users to appropriate resources
• Establish a logical content flow where users start with ASP.NET Core prerequisites and then transition to Entra ID docs for specific setup and testing procedures
• The plan will improve user experience by maintaining ASP.NET Core as the starting point while strategically directing users to authoritative Entra ID content. This approach ensures comprehensive coverage without redundancy.

Hi @wadepickett I don't understand the aims here. This doc has nothing to do with Entra ID. This is the docs for MFA and ASP.NET Core. A lot of ASP.NET Core applications use MFA and require this doc.

Sorry @damienbod, I just noticed your comment! I made a mistake and attached this issue to the wrong topic. We were asked to make sure we were making use of the Entra ID and MFA content on those respective doc sites where we could where there was duplication, linking out to them where appropriate.

That plan for that will be worked out on issue #36277, closing this one.
